THE SPRING/SUMMER 2022 PANTONE FASHION COLOR TRENDS YOU’LL WANT TO BE WEARING

Pantone has chosen their color palette for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. For the Spring and Summer, there’s a mix of soft pastels, saturated colors and classic neutrals that is showing up on all the seasonal fashion trends and in stores. There’s a variety of shades for everyone no matter what your preference. Here are the colors you’ll want to add into your wardrobe for the Spring and Summer.

Spun Sugar

A sky blue reminiscent of airy cotton candy in a soft pastel shade. This cool hue has universal properties so many can wear it well and it looks even better on those with lighter coloring.  

Gossamer Pink

For those who love blush and baby pink, this is your color! It’s a soft powder pink that’s warm in tone and screams feminine being the perfect shade for those girly pieces and delicate fabrics that we start to see appear in Spring.

Innuendo

On the other side of the pink spectrum is a bolder and more saturated pink. This color is stunning on those who are able to wear bright colors and deeper shades. You can also use this as a pop of color against your neutrals for a chic look.

Skydiver

There are a few blues in the trending colors this season giving us a ombre of tones to wear. Second in the lineup is a blue that has impact in a royal blue like color. This blue has enough balance that while it leans cool in color, it looks great on nearly everyone.  

Daffodil

A joyful yellow bearing its floral namesake gives off garden party vibes. Warm in temperature like the sun, this bright. happy color is fun to wear. This color plays well with gold accessories that are also trending this season.

Glacier Lake

Yet anther blue for us to choose from, this time in a calm, serene shade that has a coolness in its undertone. This is a grounding blue that’s not too dark or light in value and universally appealing.  

Harbor Blue

Here we have a blue green shade that sits in the middle of the teal family.  A well balanced hue with a cool feel that instantly transports you to the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and harbor side resorts.

Coca Mocha

Coca Mocha is a cool brown coffee shade with a hint of chocolate. An easy upgraded neutral to pair with other classic basics or colorful pops. Mix and match this color with others that are complimentary to create a personal palette that suits you.     

Dahlia

This flora inspired purple hue is a statement maker with dynamic intensity. There is plenty of this prominent color being featured in clothing and accessories this season. It can hold it’s own worn on it’s own or paired with other bold colors too. 

Poinciana

There’s nothing better than a red hot color that can command an outfit. The dramatic warmth carried in this shade has a range of depth making it work for mostly everyone to wear.  

Snow White

A clean crisp, pure white that’s simple and elegant. Easy to wear and breath ably light, this is your Summer cotton white. While we all love wearing white when the weather warms up, it generally looks quite flattering on those with cool coloring.

Perfectly Pale

Sandy beaches of beige granules that sift through our fingertips draw inspiration for this light inviting neutral.  Classic colors such as this go great with everything and are a great foundational base to use with prints, monochromatic looks and mixing colors.    

Basil

This color is a sweet and savory soft gray green that’s light in pigment and cool in tone.  Like the spice, bringing this color into your wardrobe adds some flavor to your neutral selections.  

Northern Droplet

The first of two grays in the color story this season is a cool and light shade.  A tranquil pale tone like this can be worn on those with bright and soft coloring equally to highlight their inner beauty.  

Poppy Seed

Rounding out the palette for this season is another cool gray, this time in a timeless steel gray color. This gray that consists of a medium to deeper value that’s ideal for those who have a little more depth in their coloring. It’s also a great way to lighten things up as an alternative to wearing black in the Spring and Summer.     

Very Peri

We can’t forget the 2022 Pantone Color Of The Year which is a must have in your wardrobe. It’s a universal color for everyone that encompasses the qualities of blue combined with possessing a violet red undertone. This is definitely one color to wear all year long!
