CROP TOPS AND SKIRTS ARE THE SILHOUETTES OF THE SEASON

Crop Tops and Skirts

Written by Jackie Condura & Curated by Channele Sawyer

Crop tops and skirts are the silhouette of the season. Designer’s Spring/Summer runways were flooded with two-piece separates that are the hugely popular style everyone is after. Chanel, Versace, and Ferragamo each showcased their stunning duos gliding down the catwalks. Crop tops and matching sets have both been at the forefront of fashion for a while, but what we are seeing now is an updated take on these trends. The two are paired together to create a stellar combo that unifies an effortless look with ease.  Coordinating fabrics and prints work together seamlessly making a figure-flattering statement that skims the body. The crop top is featured in a variety of configurations from bra tops to sleeveless and cardigan midriff-baring styles. Take your pick from skirt lengths ranging from mini, midi, and maxi in form-fitting or fuller iterations. Jacquemis, Zimmerman, Etro, and more also presented an amazing array of sexy sets. This is definitely going to be the shape and style to be seen in this season!
