"Rainbow Inspired Fashion is Trending This Month in Celebration of Pride"
If you have checked your social media feeds lately, you might have noticed that rainbow inspired fashion has been trending all month long in celebration of Pride!
In recognition of the month-long celebration, many of our favorite brands have dropped collaborations and special themed collections with tons of rainbow inspired finds. These brands are using their platforms to do their part and make a statement about inclusivity while bringing us joy with uplifting colors that brighten your day!
With post pandemic shopping on the rise, retailers are also hoping that consumers are willing to open their wallets for this year’s collections and find some great pieces that inspire them while also purchasing items that are giving back or supporting a cause.
While there are many brands doing exclusive mini lines, COACH has curated a prominent range of merchandise featuring clothing, jewelry and accessories and also works with the community. Converse has you covered in casual street style with their special edition Chucks as part of their collection that teams up with organizations. You can also shop colorful rainbow inspired designs at Kate Spades Rainbow Shop. The New York based Designer also launched their very own YouTube Chanel this month in celebration of Pride. Toms launched a capsule collection for Pride as well featuring some of the most adorable footwear items.
Although all of the pieces below are not part of official collections for Pride, there are still many adorable rainbow inspired finds. Whether you are attending parades or supporting from home, check out some of the colorful pieces below that are sure to make you stand out from the crowd!
1. Coach
For Pride 2022, head on over to Coach to grab some fabulous rainbow inspired pieces. Coach’s 2022 Pride collection was launched in collaboration with ACLU, an advocacy foundation supporting LGBTQ causes. The collection includes t-shirts, head, scarves, handbags, and pouches with retro inspired patches with designs dedicated to pride. One of the best parts of the collection is the rainbow inspired chain-link purse straps that can be worn interchangeably with many of the brands different styles to create a cross body bag.

2. Converse
Converse launched its limited-edition Pride by You Collection in honor of 2022 Pride. What’s special about this collection is that you get to design your own custom-made Chucks! That’s right!! Create your own chucks your way by mixing and matching vibrant patchwork prints with bold rainbow gradients to come up with your very own unique style. The collection is united by graphic patchwork representing the diversity of the community under the mantra “Family Unity.” For this year’s Pride, the company has partnered with various organizations dedicated to creating safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ and gender transformative youth to build a future and be their authentic selves.

3. Kate Spade
You can shop for some colorful rainbow inspired designs at Kate Spade’s Rainbow Shop. This is the third year in a row that Kate Spade has launched a seasonal pride collection. This year’s collection was done in conjunction with the Trevor Project. Ten percent of the proceeds will be devoted to the organization to combat suicide prevention in LGBTQIA identifying youth. From rainbow print t-shirts to playful charm bracelets and gradient rainbow inspired handbags and cell phone cases, there’s an extensive range of fun accessories to choose from.

5. Tom's
The collection was done in collaboration with COLORS, a grassroots organization devoted to providing mental health services and suicide prevention in LGBTQ+ youth under 25.
Tom’s line for Pride includes a rainbow inspired take on some of the brands most celebrated iconic designs. Think colorful rainbow striped platform slides !!! or the brands legacy espadrilles covered in whimsical rainbow inspired prints!!
One third of the proceeds will be donated to Colors to combat the suicide prevention cause.

5. Cibbellee Eyewear
While not part of an official collection for Pride, I could not resist this super cool Cibbellee Eyewear find! These colorful chain link glasses caught my attention when scrolling down my Instagram feed. What better way to rock these rainbow chain link glasses and go all out for Pride! They’re the perfect pair to accessorize any outfit with! They’re sure to make you stand out from the crowd!
6. Farm Rio
This rainbow-colored Farm Rio crochet top is another stand out piece that was not part of an official collection for Pride, anyhow I had to add this item to the list because of its fun rainbow design! Crochet is another style that is trending this summer so why not combine it with rainbow wear this month in celebration of Pride!!
