Balmain brought down the house at their Spring/Summer 2020 showing. Art deco and geometric-inspired graphic prints were visually stimulating. The direction of the collection was marked with vintage 70’s era silhouettes, asymmetry and the stunning contrast of black and white stripes against colorful denim is an optical mod kaleidoscope treat that indulgently delights the senses. Paying homage to Pantone’s color of the year, you can’t miss the use of his striking saturated blue. Oversized chokers were the accessory of choice matching and complimenting the eye-popping pieces. The one word to describe this collection would be nothing short of “cool”!

Jungle essence is the focus at Valentino this summer as the Italian couture designer takes you on a journey through exotic prints. The use of minimalistic white structural details with accents of gold accessories is a classic and timeless combination. On the more wild side, a safari of lush botanicals and natural elements were a refreshing interpretation of the summer print. Bright neoneque colors, sheer fabrications, and voluminous shaping rounded out the series of styles presented in keeping with the refined reputation of glamour from the label.
